On 1 November, Rewardsco cut the ribbon and officially opened the doors to its magnificent third building located on the sprawling, state-of-the-art 19 500 sqm campus in Umhlanga, Durban.
The dazzling event was attended by the media, property developers, clients and business stakeholders who were treated to snacks and cocktails on the building’s 4th floor so we could toast this milestone with our VIP guests against the gorgeous backdrop of the ocean. The proceedings were punctuated by an insightful Q&A session on the future of the GBS industry by Rewardsco directors Dylan Koen and Sven Steenfeldt-Kristensen, as well as BPESA CEO Reshni Singh.
This knowledgeable trio not only talked about plans for the future, which includes the creation of 500 000 jobs for South Africans in the GBS sector, but also what Rewardsco’s new building means for the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
As one of the biggest single employers in KZN, this third building presents an exciting opportunity to alleviate the province’s high unemployment rate. This is also a chance to turn what was once considered entry-level sales and support consultant jobs into promising careers thanks to Rewardsco’s in-house training and accreditation programme, as well as industry-first initiatives like empowering consultants on select campaigns to earn a full salary for a half-day shift in the quest to bring true work-life balance to our people.
The future is looking bright for Rewardsco and the province as we continue our mission to expand to international territories and be an employer of choice in KZN, empowering its people to grow stronger, together.
Rewardsco is proud to have been featured in various media publications for the coverage of our momentous building launch.
