Michael founded Rewardsco Group in July 1996 and has served as the Chairman since its formation. Michael has driven the development of Rewardsco Group from a start-up company to the entrepreneurial and formidable BPO company that it is today. Previously, Michael served in the banking industry where he headed up the Asia Region for the National Australia Bank/Bank of New Zealand Group. Prior to this, Michael served as Group Treasurer for the Barclays/First National Bank Group in South Africa where he steered the group to a dominant position in the financial markets.

Trevor co-founded the Rewardsco Group in 1996 and is instrumental in its ongoing strategic development. He leads Rewardsco Sales, the Group’s Sales and Distribution business, in addition to serving on the Group Investment Committee. Trevor has an entrepreneurial background, having previously owned and managed a chain of retail stores and an importing/distribution business.

Fathima joined the Rewardsco Group in 2019. She heads the Group’s International Business Development portfolio and serves as the Group Corporate Governance Director and Company Secretary. Fathima drives growth and expansion in Rewardsco’s international target markets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leading commercial negotiations and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Fathima joined the Rewardsco Group in 2019. She heads the Group’s International Business Development portfolio and serves as the Group Corporate Governance Director and Company Secretary. Fathima drives growth and expansion in Rewardsco’s international target markets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leading commercial negotiations and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. As an admitted attorney, Fathima holds a Masters in Social Justice, a B-LLB, a Corporate Governance post-grad qualification and is currently working toward an MBA in International Business. She previously served as a Commercial, Mergers and Acquisitions attorney at Norton Rose Fulbright and a Market Conduct, Risk and Compliance Specialist within the finance industry.

Shaun joined Rewardsco as the Group Financial Director in 2023. He plays a key role in strategic Group initiatives and heads up the overall financial functions of the Group. Shaun serves on the Group Investment Committee driving the financial strategy with his diverse expertise in business insights development, integrated business planning, strategy development and execution and related business structuring, underpinned by a strong foundation in financial accounting, governance and internal controls.

Shaun previously served as the Group Operations Finance Head at Illovo Sugar Africa. He has an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Sven joined Rewardsco Group as a Director in April 2005. Sven plays an instrumental role in defining the Group’s strategic direction to unlock value for all stakeholders. He serves as the Managing Director of Rewardsco Investments and sits on the Group Investment Committee. Sven has a background in investments, technology and business development, having prior to this obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in New Zealand.

As Chief Operating Officer, Dwane leads Rewardsco’s operational and digital transformation initiatives, focusing on streamlining business processes and enhancing the company’s technological capabilities. He joined the company in 2024 and has a strong background in IT, telecommunications and BPO. Dwane plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and improving overall operational efficiency. His leadership in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams ensures Rewardsco remains competitive in a dynamic business environment. Dwane has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of the Witwatersrand.

As Director of Data and Fulfilment Operations, Derek leads the optimisation of sales performance and efficiency at Rewardsco. Derek joined the company in 2013 as Head of Data Management before being promoted to Managing Executive of Credit, Risk and Data in 2020, driving strategic initiatives that enhance revenue and profitability. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and HR from the University of the Witwatersrand, Derek has over two decades of experience in business development, financial management and leadership, having held senior roles at companies such as Les Donnees Marketing Analytics and AIG South Africa. His expertise in developing innovative, revenue-building strategies continues to fuel Rewardsco’s success.

Pooja joined the Rewardsco 2020 and now leads the Financial Planning and Analysis division, playing a key role in driving growth and informing business decisions across the Group. With a sharp eye for revenue opportunities and cost optimisation, she is a key figure in steering Rewardsco’s financial performance. As a Chartered Accountant with a background in financial compliance, auditing and governance at Ernst & Young, Pooja brings a wealth of expertise across multiple industries. She holds a BCom in Financial Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and in 2024, she earned her MBA from the University of Warwick in England.

In 2007, Yashika joined Rewardsco as an End User Support Consultant. She began her steady rise through the ranks to first take on the role of Managing Executive of Information Technology, before becoming Rewardsco’s Chief Technology Officer. Throughout her 17-year journey with Rewardsco she has played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s technological landscape. As CTO, Yashika oversees the comprehensive IT and Facilities portfolio for the Rewardsco Group, spearheading strategic initiatives including automation, cloud adoption, machine learning and AI. Her leadership has been key in ensuring operational efficiency, modernising infrastructure and maintaining seamless, zero-downtime operations. Yashika holds a BCom in Project Management from the Management College of South Africa.

Imthiaz joined Rewardsco in 2024 as Managing Executive of Financial Services and International. Backed by over 20 years’ experience in contact centres, financial services and international markets Imthiaz drives revenue growth and optimises sales strategies for both Rewardsco’s domestic and international operations. His strong background in strategic planning, team leadership and process engineering plays a key role in ensuring Rewardsco’s continued success and competitiveness. He holds a BCom in Strategic Management from the University of South Africa.
